Counseling & GroupsCounselingIs there tension, confusion, or frustration in your home or in your heart? If so, counseling may be helpful for you. The RRCC offers affordable counseling to women, men, clergy, couples, adolescents, and families. We would love to work with you! To learn more about counseling or to schedule an appointment, please complete an Interest Form or call us at 626-622-2502. We are here for you. Educational Support GroupsIf the idea of learning new information in a supportive environment where it is safe to share feelings, ask questions, and gain insight from your peers as well as from relationship experts sounds appealing, then an educational support group may be right for you. The educational support groups that we offer at the RRCC are not group therapy. As a member of a support group, you are not there to get psychological treatment in a group setting. You are there to give and receive support, encouragement and guidance from people in similar situations. Our groups are led by a facilitator who has specialized training and/or education regarding the topic being discussed. Group TherapyFor some people who are deeply wounded, an educational support group is not enough. For these individuals, group therapy may be what is needed in order to address the lingering hurts, frustrations, and pain that are interfering with overall functioning, either personally, professionally, or both. Being in group therapy cannot be a substitute for individual therapy, if individual work is needed. However, group therapy can be a supplement to your individual work as you strive to gain or regain a sense of balance in your life. Our groups are led by licensed and prelicensed clinicians who will offer you compassion and a high level of care while simultaneously challenging you on the choices you make that are counterproductive to you achieving your mental and relationship health goals. We would love to hear from you! Please complete an Interest Form if you would like to learn more about our counseling, educational support groups, or therapy groups. Some of our counseling, educational support groups, and therapy groups include helping people with the following:
